Life is Like a Coin....

"One of the best decisions we ever made was to define our own happiness. We grew up with "the world" telling us what we would need to do to be happy. Do well in school, get a good job, buy a nice car, live in a nice house, fill that house with nice things, etc. We chased that carrot, and we were not happy. We were stressed.

So we gave up on that. We traded making money for making memories. We traded being like others for just being ourselves. And I wouldn't trade the happiness this has brought us for anything in the world.

You only live once. This is it, your one life. Are you happy with it?
