My heart swells watching Josh (8y) replying to emails Papa sends him from work.
Papa was in Mississippi, and sent Josh some pictures of the river and
capitol building. I love that they are able to connect with each other
throughout the day.
Of course, the connection is the most
important part of this situation, but I also appreciate the learning
opportunities. Typing, spelling, capitalization, grammar, formatting of
letters, all on top of the content of the emails. Josh doesn't see any
of this as "learning" or "studying". He simply sees it as emailing Dad.
